This class will include a live demonstration of the entire canning process, which can be applied to everything from pickles to jam making. We will discuss the necessary equipment, safe food handling practices, troubleshooting, storage, and use of home canned foods. Questions and curiosity are welcome! Our instructors are experienced, friendly, and approachable, and each class is dedicated to providing a comprehensive overview which will empower students to go forth and preserve the seasonal bounty.
