Forge welding and layering metals! Mokume Gane is a Japanese method of metal working. Mokume Gane is a method in working with non-ferrous metals which translates to wood grain or wood eye. It is a beautiful method in working with metals and can be used for decorative handles, jewelry or accents in furniture.
This one-day workshop will teach you everything you need to know through lecture and hands-on experience. Each student will have ample time with hammer and anvil and be able to complete their project which they then get to take home. This class will teach you to work with the forge.

Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Clothing cannot be susceptible to melting. No polyester, we recommend jeans and a cotton shirt. Please bring sunscreen and water. This class is for adults 18 years of age and older. If you have a child under 18 years of age that is interested please contact us.
The registration fee includes materials, safety gear for class. Class is 6 hours, 9:00am-3:00pm.
